Job Title: EUC Field Support
Duration: 6 months contract possibility to extend
Location: Onsite - Minneapolis, MN
Work Description/Deliverables
- The Field Support Technician provides on-site technical support and maintenance for end-users' computing devices, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- This in-person role requires regular travel to different sites for on-site support, including lifting equipment. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and committed to exceptional customer service. This role involves diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
- The Field Support Technician will also be responsible for deploying new devices, performing hardware upgrades, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Additionally, the role requires collaborating with cross-functional teams to support various IT initiatives.
Key Deliverables Include:
- Timely resolution of hardware and software issues to minimize downtime
- Deployment and configuration of new computing devices
- Accurate documentation of incidents, solutions, and inventory updates
- User training and support to enhance productivity and end-user satisfaction
- Operationalize project deliverables based on Project-determined timelines
- Maintain and create documentation relating to standard operating procedures for front-line client services solutions
- Perform process improvements and analysis of processes on a regular basis to reduce spend, complexity, and problem management
General Responsibilities
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to end users, efficiently resolving hardware and software issues
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop hardware, operating systems, and applications
- Manage device deployments, including staging, configuration, and user setup
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation of all support activities
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure consistent application of policies and procedures
- Educate end-users on best practices for technology usage and security
- Participate in IT initiatives, including system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements
- Ensure compliance with IT standards, procedures, and security policies
- Deploying standardized, secure, current images of various Operating Systems on multiple HW platforms using Andersen standard deployment methodologies
- Participates in operational support, maintenance, and basic administration and implementation of the enterprise computing environment (cloud and on-premises), including troubleshooting, performance monitoring, security, optimization, capacity management, and disaster recovery/business continuity planning

Mandatory Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to independently resolve technology issues directly with end users at all levels of the organization
- Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows and iOS operating systems
- Proficiency in configuring and supporting desktop and laptop hardware
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and related productivity tools
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel between locations
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices
- Experience with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow
Desired Skills
- Experience with Intune and/or Jamf; SCCM and/or Intune Autopilot
- Basic understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy management
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN configurations
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, or Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator
The projected hourly range for this position is $35-40/hr.
