Description

Gather and define electrical virtual requirements of Virtual Electronic Control Units (VECUs) for Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) 2.0-based architecture and simulation of VECUs. Migrate design from Vehicle Intelligent Platform (VIP) based on Classic and Adaptive Automotive Open System Architecture Classic (AUTOSAR) to Software Defined Vehicle 2.0 architecture. Specify, maintain, and update conventional ICE passenger vehicle and Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) Compute Control Unit (CCU) Farm, Microprocessor Control Unit (MCU) Farm, Input Output(I/O) Extenders, Cartridges, and Aggregators packaging locations (mass, weight, durability, brackets, fasteners, connectors (headers/wiring harnesses) interface specifications; ECU diagnostics (Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), Parameter Identifiers (PIDs), Control Parameter Identifiers (CPIDs), Routine Identifiers (RIDs)) and serviceability; sealing requirements (water and dust intrusion) according to International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) International Protection (IP) Code; and thermal requirements (flow rates, pressure drop, and liquid cooling temperatures based on cooling loops between ECUs and power electronics controllers (battery packs and Traction Power Inverter Module (TPIM)), using Tortoise Git, Jira, Jira Align, IBM Rational Team Concert (RTC), IBM Rational DOORS, BigLever Gears, and PowerBI tools, following Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

Additional Description

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, and five (5) years of experience as an Engineer, Technical Leader, Specialist, or related role. Must also have experience with: specifying and updating passenger vehicle Electronic Control Units (ECUs) interface specifications; ECU diagnostics (Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and Parameter Identifiers (PIDs)) and serviceability; and thermal requirements, using IBM Rational Team Concert (RTC) and BigLever Gears tools.
