Field Technician

JOB TITLE: Field Technician

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Technician position supports the branch, and client, in service projects and all repair of industrial equipment needs. This position ensures that all rental equipment repair and service project needs of the branch are conducted in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner. This role provides a great opportunity to learn and grow within our service department and beyond.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Testing and repairing equipment by travelling to the location of the customer
• Providing troubleshooting as well performing installation of equipment
• Attending to the needs of the customer whenever required
• Performing the confirmation that the equipment is functional
• Sometimes they have to provide telephone support to the customer in order to perform troubleshooting
• Providing onsite services for individual as well as organizations
• Ensuring that the equipment on which they have performed troubleshooting are in proper working condition
• Other projects or duties as assigned by management

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, COMPETENCIES & SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Preferably, have a high School degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years experience working on equipment & working in refinery/petrochemical facilities
• TWIC Card required
• Must have ability to maintain safe, organized and clean working environment
• Must be able to multi-task and work on many different projects at one time
• Must be able to work independently, and in a team environment, to prioritize and accomplish assigned projects.
• Must be able to stand, sit, and kneel for long periods of time in all weather conditions
• Must be able to frequently lift 50+ lbs.
