Azure DevOps Engineer

A consumer products company in Massachusetts is currently seeking a new Azure DevOps Engineer to join their growing staff in Wilmington.

***This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 3 day a week in Wilmington, MA.***

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage scalable Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD across multiple environments


• Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to streamline deployment processes


• Maintain and enhance infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates


• Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and security in Azure environments


• Create and maintain detailed documentation for DevOps processes, tools, and best practices


• Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps culture across the organization


• Lead incident response and root cause analysis for production issues


• Stay current with Azure services and DevOps trends to drive continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or cloud engineering roles.


• Strong expertise in Azure services, Azure DevOps, and Git-based workflows


• Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python)


• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration


• Solid understanding of networking, security, and monitoring in Cloud environments


• Excellent communication skills with a passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing


• Proven ability to document technical processes clearly and effectively

Desired Skills:

• Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-400, AZ-104)


• Experience with hybrid cloud or on-prem integrations


• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
