Job Details

Develop 3D Models, Assemblies & detail drawings using CAD tools

Manage component Design, development and qualification activities with multiple suppliers, ensuring alignment on quality cost & Delivery timeline.

Define technical interface requirement & Specification in collaboration with the Design team.

Conduct on-site visits to supplier facilities to oversee manufacturing process validation & production readiness.

Drive supplier accountability resolving DFM Issues & Coordinate with the supplier & testing team to keep validation activities on the schedule.

Lead Mechanical Design & Build activities during the Concept, Proto, validation & Production build.

Develop work instructions and document new products/tests, product design improvements, and process improvements.

Generate and release part/assembly drawings and Bill of Materials into Agile PLM system.

Strong Hands-on performing tolerance Stack-up, GD&T & Create EBOM, Prepare Engineering Documentation (DFM/DFA, DFMEA, PFMEA)

Ability to independently manage projects.

 

Skills:

Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Field,

6+ years of experience in Mechanical / Manufacturing engineering preferably

3+ years in High Voltage Electromechanical Design & Engineering.

Strong Proficiency in CAD tools Solid works (4+ years).

Experience with GD&T Tolerance Stack-up analysis, Engineering Documentation & Supplier Coordination.
