Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor multi-location data engineering teams.
- Architect and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, ADLS, SQL DB.
- Design and implement ETL/ELT workflows for structured & unstructured data.
- Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance standards are met.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Integrate BI & governance tools (Power BI, Tableau, Informatica, Collibra).
- Drive innovation, performance optimization, and cost efficiency
Required Technical Skills:
- Azure Data Services: Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks (Apache Spark), Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Database.
- Expertise in ETL/ELT pipeline design and development for batch and near real-time workloads.
- Programming: Advanced SQL and Python (Scala/Java a plus).
- Data Modeling & Warehousing: Star/snowflake schemas, normalization/denormalization, BI-optimized models.
- Familiarity with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra), visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau), and virtualization platforms.
