Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Techno-Functional SME who will support our client. This role will be responsible for helping draft and execute a plan and approach for understanding the current state process for a Medicaid/HHS organization and how these can be improved with out-of-the-box Salesforce functionality. The ideal candidate will have intensive Salesforce experience and specialize in direct requirement gathering from business users.
Duties:

Analyze current state business processes within the Medicaid/HHS organization

Document existing workflows, pain points, and improvement opportunities

Create comprehensive Salesforce process maps and documentation for implementation

Conduct direct requirement gathering sessions with business users, facilitate workshops with stakeholders, and translate business needs into functional requirements.

Design future-state solutions using out-of-the-box Salesforce functionality

Develop design principles and guardrails for Salesforce solutions
-
Write clear, detailed user stories for development teams
-
Configure out-of-the-box Salesforce features, set up workflows, approval process, and automation.

Create and maintain documentation on processes and system configurations.

Deliver regular updates and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.

Apply healthcare industry knowledge to solution design to ensure solutions comply with regulations and standards.
Mandatory Qualifications: (must be qualifiable)

Bachelor's degree in relevant field such as Business, Healthcare, or Information Technology.

Must hold Salesforce Certifications: Salesforce Administrator and Salesforce Service Cloud. Additional certifications are a plus.

10+ years of intensive and progressive experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst, specializing in direct requirement gathering from business users.

3+ successful completions of full lifecycle Salesforce implementations.

Demonstrated success in implementing Salesforce solutions, preferably within Medicaid or large healthcare systems.

Strong experience in drafting comprehensive future-state Salesforce roadmaps.

Strong analytical skills and experience working with hybrid agile environments, including drafting future state recommendations and writing user stories.

Strong experience with configuring Salesforce out-of-the-box features within Salesforce Service Cloud, and/or Public Sector Solutions.

Skilled in creating Design Principles, or Salesforce design guardrails

Strong communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders to gather information, provide updates, and deliver reports.
Desirable Qualifications:

Master's degree in relevant field such as Business, Healthcare, or Information Technology.

2+ years' experience in a large healthcare system

Certifications and experience with process improvement techniques (such as Lean Six Sigma, Agile, PDCA cycles, and Kanban), Project Management, Business Analysis, or similar.

Technical certifications such as ITIL service management, COMP TIA certifications, Oracle, Microsoft, Cisco, AWS.

Experience in areas such as IT Governance, IT Auditing, IT Risk Management, etc.
