Print Support Specialist
Austin, TX 78723 (Onsite) (The worksite will vary depending on which hospital machine repair is needed.)
3 Months (Temp to Perm)
Mon-Fri, 8am - 5pm
Driving: Yes driving between client sites in personal vehicle is required.

Client is seeking a Print Support Specialist I to support printers at various Health sites in Austin, TX. This role involves first-response technical support, troubleshooting printer issues, managing hardware and supplies inventory, and maintaining printer fleet records. Driving to multiple hospital locations in a personal vehicle is required.


Responsibilities

  • Provide daily support for network and workstation printers

  • Respond to customer service requests; troubleshoot and resolve issues

  • Escalate unresolved problems to senior technician or account manager

  • Keep users informed on ticket progress

  • Document all service activity in TRAC Solution

  • Provide remote access support and user training

  • Track and report printer fleet status, including meter reads

  • Maintain on-site printer hardware, parts, and consumables inventory

  • Manage printer procurement and hot swap units as needed


Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (additional technical education preferred)

  • Experience in IT Help Desk or hardware support

  • Familiarity with printer hardware and basic networking

  • HP certifications preferred

  • Excellent customer service and troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs., stand, walk, bend, and use hand tools

  • Must have a valid driver s license and personal vehicle for site travel

  • Business casual dress code; comfortable shoes recommended

  • No COVID vaccination requirements

  • Use of tools such as dollies may be required
