COBOL Developer
Dauphin County, PA - REMOTE
12 Months Contract
We are working with our direct client and need candidates who can work on our W2.
Candidates with previous state/government client experience are preferred.
Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced COBOL Developers to maintain and modernize legacy systems in banking, government, and insurance sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize COBOL applications on mainframes.
- Collaborate with business analysts to understand system requirements.
- Perform code reviews and implement system enhancements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years of experience with COBOL and mainframe technologies.
- Experience with JCL, DB2, CICS, and batch processing.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
