Fivetran HVR Specialist

Primary Duties:
- System Configuration and Updates: Perform installations, configurations, and updates to Fivetran HVR software elements, such as the HVR Hub, agents (HVAs), and related components, ensuring functionality across different source and destination systems.
- Data Integration Management: Design and maintain connections for various data sources including, but not limited to, Oracle, SQL Server, SAP HANA, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and various cloud services like Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, and Redshift. Craft data replication pipelines while determining the source and destination mapping, selecting specific datasets, and applying necessary data manipulation.
- Efficiency Tuning: Optimize HVR settings in order to enhance data replication processes by managing batch sizes, implementing parallel processing, and optimizing network configurations. Assess system capabilities related to processing power, storage, memory, and network throughput, proposing enhancements as needed.
- Large-Scale CDC Deployment: Design and implement comprehensive approaches for large-scale data replication, focusing on effective log-based Change Data Capture (CDC) methodologies.
- System Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor the health of HVR agents to ensure consistent and unbroken connections across all data sources and targets, aiming for peak operational performance.
