Job Title: IT Manager – Warehouse

About the Role:
We are seeking an IT Manager to oversee IT infrastructure and operations within a high-volume warehouse or distribution environment. The manager will lead a local IT team, support operations, and drive projects that enhance system performance and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage day-to-day IT operations for warehouse systems and infrastructure.

  • Administer servers, desktops, printers, wireless devices, phones, and related hardware/software.

  • Support WMS, automation, robotics, and business systems; troubleshoot and escalate issues when necessary.

  • Monitor system performance, analyze metrics, and implement optimization initiatives.

  • Manage updates, configuration, and maintenance of warehouse technologies.

  • Ensure uptime, reliability, and security compliance for all critical IT systems.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify system improvements and support process enhancements.

  • Lead or participate in IT projects, system upgrades, rollouts, and vendor engagements.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of IT systems management experience, ideally in warehouse or distribution environments.

  • Hands-on experience with warehouse automation, robotics, and WMS/WES/MHS systems.

  • Strong knowledge of network configuration, wireless technologies, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and VMware.

  • Experience with peripheral devices such as barcode scanners, printers, and mobile devices.

  • Proven ability to collaborate across operations and technical teams.

  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and metrics-driven problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and vendor management capabilities.

  • Nice to have: experience in security compliance, preventive maintenance, and strategic IT planning.

Work Environment & Location:

  • Based in North Carolina (regional, in-person role).

  • Hands-on role in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
