Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to support our banking client's API development and infrastructure maintenance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background with hands-on experience in Spring Boot, Java-based APIs, Jenkins Pipelines, and Dynatrace monitoring within data center environments.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance existing API solutions used in core banking applications.
  • Collaborate closely with other developers, testers, and operations to coordinate development efforts and ensure timely delivery.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple development tasks, providing regular updates on progress and blockers.
  • Prepare and execute production deployments and software releases, ensuring system stability and uptime.
  • Monitor applications using Dynatrace and assist in root cause analysis and debugging of production issues.
Must-Have Technical Skills:
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in:
    • Spring Boot
    • Java API Development
    • Dynatrace Monitoring and Analysis
    • Debugging Complex Java Applications
    • CI/CD using Jenkins Pipeline
    • Data Center Deployment and Support
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Familiarity with RESTful services
  • Experience with Gherkin or BDD tools/frameworks
Soft Skills:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to articulate technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven team collaboration skills in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Education & Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
