Senior Full Stack Developer
Our client, a local distribution company that currently provides natural gas service to approximately two million people in Oregon and Southwest Washington, is looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Full Stack Developer with expertise in the .NET development environment and Microsoft SQL for their Sherwood, OR location. This position requires experience and knowledge in building and maintaining custom developed solutions, with a preference for candidates who are familiar with Microsoft BizTalk integrations. As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for independently managing and providing production support for various custom-developed solutions within our client s organization.

Key Responsibilities for Senior Full Stack Developer:

  • Design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions using the .NET framework, Microsoft SQL, and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and system administrators, to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and propose technical solutions.
  • Independently manage the full software development lifecycle, including requirement gathering, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of the custom-developed solutions by employing best practices and adhering to coding standards.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and defects, providing timely production support to ensure system stability and uptime.

Requirements/Qualifications for Senior Full Stack Developer:

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or 5+ years equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer.
  • Proficiency in .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Entity Framework, SignalR.
  • Proven development experience with web technologies, patterns, and tooling to include HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, REST & SOAP services, MVC (4/5).
  • Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and its related technologies, stored procedures, functions, SSIS packages, and database optimization. Experience with native spatial data types (Geometry, Geography) and related native spatial functions preferred.
  • Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns (pub/sub architecture) - Microsoft BizTalk experience preferred.
  • Experience configuring and managing Microsoft Server IIS environments including Application pools, security/permissions, certificates, etc.
  • Experience with Git, TFS, and Azure DevOps.
  • Ability to self-start and independently manage multiple projects and priorities, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
