Interior Design Lead
Looking to make an impact on a growing design team? An award-winning Real Estate Development firm is expanding their interiors team in Austin! They are looking for a designer with 8+ years of experience in multi-family and/or hospitality design. This role will enable a designer to lead and work collaboratively alongside team members and partners.
The role entails..
- generating design concepts; such as floor plan analysis, visual design concepts and finish selections
- Communicating with partners (including: contractors, owners, project managers and consultants) through the project, from schematic design to construction administration
- documentation and development of construction documents - and coordinating with MEP requirements
- conducting preliminary field surveys to document existing conditions
- Coordinate materials and assist in the production of project specifications
The candidate should have..
- professional degree in architecture or interior design - Bachelor's or Master's in Interior Design preferred.
- Interior Design licensure, NCIDQ preferred
- strong attention to detail, organization and multi-tasking skills
- proficiency in Revit, Microsoft Office and Sketchup and knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Cloud, Enscape, Bluebeam and Newforma
- Problem-solving skills and developed leadership and communication skills
