Job Description:
- Our Marketing and Loyalty team is the strategic force behind Uniteds industry-leading brand and experience supporting revenue growth by turning customers into lifelong United flyers. Our marketing communications market research and brand teams drive travelers familiarity and engagement with the United brand.
- To further this mission we are seeking a talented individual to join our Digital Marketing Operations team and support our campaign operations.
- The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting analyzing and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that support business decision-making.
- This role involves building dashboards and reports across our marketing channels and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
- It also involves managing and delivering audience data for marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Analyze marketing data to identify patterns and trends providing actionable insights to data and marketing teams
- Develop and automate reports dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders
- Build and manage data extensions and audience segments in Salesforce Marketing Cloud SFMC by writing SQL queries
- Develop and optimize data standards processes and workflows including ad-hoc processes automated triggers and marketing data pipelines to improve operational efficiency and campaign execution
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in data analysis or a similar analytical role ideally within marketing or business analytics
- Strong proficiency in SQL and PySpark
- Strong experience in Amazon redshift and Databricks
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud SFMC
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify meaningful patterns and insights from complex data
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into clear actionable business recommendations
