Job Description
We are seeking a Data Warehouse Analyst to support enterprise data management and reporting initiatives. This role involves gathering and analyzing business information needs, designing system requirements, and implementing solutions in a Snowflake cloud data warehouse environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Informatica IDMC, PowerCenter, Data Quality, and Enterprise Data Catalog while leveraging Power BI, Cognos, and Tableau for reporting and analytics.
This position is onsite in Tallahassee, FL.
Responsibilities
Gather business requirements and prepare system specifications.
Design, develop, and optimize data warehouse models to support reporting and analytics.
Perform ETL/ELT tasks including data extraction, transformation, loading, cleansing, and replication.
Administer and support IDMC Secure Agent Infrastructure and Snowflake Data Cloud platforms.
Validate and review data loaded into the warehouse for accuracy.
Provide technical consulting to data users and enforce proper data usage standards.
Prototype, build, and test solutions using Snowflake, Power BI, and Cognos.
Perform system administration on Redhat Linux applications, including patching, disk management, and scripting.
Work with IBM Mainframes (COBOL, JCL, DB2) for legacy data analysis and integration.
Maintain metadata, develop documentation, and support performance tuning of Informatica and Snowflake environments.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
7+ years of IT experience in data management, business intelligence, and data warehousing.
Strong expertise in Informatica IDMC tools (CDI, MI, CAI, etc.) and PowerCenter.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Cloud development and administration.
Proficiency in SQL Server, DB2, Snowflake, and Oracle relational database platforms.
Experience with data modeling, metadata management, and data governance.
Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and Change Data Capture solutions.
Experience with Power BI, Cognos, and Tableau report/dashboard design.
Familiarity with Linux administration (Redhat preferred).
Background in mainframe environments (COBOL, JCL, DB2) is a plus.
