Title: Sr. Operations Technician (for C-130 Production)

Location: Onsite in Marietta, GA
Length of Contract: 12 months
O.T. Not anticipated - typical M-F 40 hours

Works schedule: 4 days x 10 hours, 6:00 am - 5:00 pm (1 hr lunch)
USC is a must

Operations Technician Support (Ops Tech) - Ops techs (focus on assembly, manufacturing, production) are experienced retirees and/or SMEs that will:
Support Mechanics to ensure operations are done to planning and processes
Help ensure planning is understood and demonstrate/train on the job
Support Supervisors with advice on dealing with mechanics, understanding aircraft requirements, and bringing awareness of disconnects within the staff to help resolve issues and improve team cohesiveness
Support Sr. Managers with awareness of Supervisor and Mechanics issues that require senior level support and coaching
Help develop training courseware
Support off aircraft (C-Center) training
Background: High level of experience in multiple functional areas for aircraft assembly and production. It is desirable these resources have C-130 experience and be a former or retired C-130 production expert.
Deliverables: The Seller s Ops Tech team shall provide senior level insights and coaching to the Buyer s work center leaders. The intent is to train the Buyer s leaders which are unfamiliar with C-130 production on the tools, process, functional capabilities, and management soft skills of the aerospace industry and the C-130 program
