About Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Consultant to drive strategic security initiatives across our cloud environments. This role is responsible for aligning cloud security practices with business objectives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of security collaboration across technical and business teams.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the development and execution of cloud security strategies that align with organizational goals and industry best practices.
- Define and enforce enterprise-grade IAM strategies, ensuring strong identity governance and adherence to compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, HITRUST, and others.
- Landing Zone Governance: Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable landing zones to support multi-cloud and hybrid environments, ensuring consistent architecture and policy enforcement.
- Collaborate with SecOps and cloud teams to develop incident response strategies, enhance threat monitoring, and ensure efficient handling of cloud security events.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory and security requirements across cloud environments. Proactively identify and mitigate cloud-related risks.
- Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for leadership and key stakeholders on cloud security matters. Communicate risk posture, security updates, and progress on initiatives clearly and effectively.
Experience & Qualifications
- At least 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3+ years in cloud security leadership roles.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, AWS/Azure Security Specialty) strongly preferred.
- Good understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and associated security services.
- Proven experience with IAM frameworks and compliance standards (HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of cloud-native and third-party security tools.
- Master s or bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.
Preferred Skills:
- Background in healthcare or other regulated industries.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipeline security.
