Role: Snowflake AWS Data Engineer with PL/SQL, Python, Oracle and Capital market Experience Job Location: Jersey City, NJ (Day 1 Onsite- Candidate needs to work 5 Days at the Client Office)

Duration: 12+ Months Contract Mandatory Skills

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain PL/SQL scripts to support data processing needs and ensure data integrity within our Capital Markets systems.
  • Utilize Python for data manipulation, automation, and building data pipelines.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deliver software solutions that enhance Capital Markets operations.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry best practices regarding database management, programming, and Capital Markets trends.

  • Snowflake Data Engineering
  • Strong PL/SQL

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in PL/SQL development, including data modeling, stored procedures, and triggers.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, including libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, or similar data manipulation libraries.
  • Proven experience in Capital Markets, with a solid understanding of financial products, processes, and data flows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques is a plus (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Oracle Database, SQL, ETL processes, data warehousing, or data architecture.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and development practices.
