They are seeking a seasoned Senior Linux DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust Linux-based infrastructure and DevOps practices to support these projects.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure Linux-based infrastructure in compliance with DoD security requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement DevOps processes and automation tools to streamline software development, testing, and deployment.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery of software applications.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
  • Conduct regular security audits and implement best practices for securing Linux systems and environments.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on Linux and DevOps best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Extensive experience in Linux system administration and engineering in a DoD or similarly regulated environment.
  • Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl.
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS GovCloud or Azure Government.
  • Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
  • Security certifications such as Security+, CISSP, or relevant DoD certifications are highly desirable.
