Job Details

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT Service Desk Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for providing technical support to end users, resolving hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of enterprise technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for end users seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or in person.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on Windows 11 desktop and laptop systems.
  • Provide advanced support for Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Manage and support mobile devices across multiple platforms including Android, iOS, and legacy BlackBerry systems.
  • Administer and troubleshoot user accounts and access permissions using Entra ID (Azure Active Directory).
  • Maintain and support document management systems, ensuring proper access controls and data integrity.
  • Perform routine Windows administration tasks including system updates, user profile management, and configuration changes.
  • Identify and resolve network connectivity issues, including LAN/WAN troubleshooting and basic network diagnostics.
  • Document technical issues and resolutions in the service desk ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Educate users on best practices for system usage, security, and software applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in IT support or service desk roles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Solid understanding of Windows 11 operating systems and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience with mobile device management and support.
  • Familiarity with Entra ID (Azure AD) and Windows administration.
  • Knowledge of document management systems and workflows.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve network-related issues.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Louisville, KY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
