Senior Testing Automation Expert - AWS

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Testing Automation Expert - AWS in Fairfax, VA.

Duties Include:
* Develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or PyTest
* Develop and implement a framework to maintain test data and keep it updated with new requirements
* Design and implement automated tests for UI, APIs, microservices, Batch jobs and data pipelines in AWS environments
* Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline
* Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to define test strategies and ensure testability of applications
* Monitor and analyze test results, identify defects, and drive resolution
* Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in automation
* Evaluate and implement new testing tools and technologies

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years in software testing with a strong focus on automation
* Experience in covering API Tests, Integration Tests, System Tests and Unit Tests
* Expertise in AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudFormation)
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python, Java, or JavaScript
* Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and version control (e.g., Git)
* Familiarity with containerization (Docker)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
