Compensation: $130,000 - $180,000 annually (Hourly equivalent during the contract phase, negotiable, based on experience)
Clearance Requirement: Active U.S. Secret Clearance required

Key Responsibilities:
Primary Duties:
- Lead and execute Windows Server migrations (2016-2019 and 2012-2019), including planning, deployment, and validation
- Perform systems discovery and mapping across Microsoft environments (including IIS, SharePoint, SQL), identifying interdependencies
- Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot Windows systems to ensure performance and reliability
- Implement and manage automation using tools like Ansible for server builds and configuration standardization
- Apply and validate STIGs, ensuring all systems meet security and compliance requirements
Secondary Duties:
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for advanced Windows server issues
- Manage system updates, patches, and upgrades in accordance with security policies
- Maintain documentation for all systems, processes, and procedures
Deliverables:
- Timely and disruption-free Windows Server migrations
- Comprehensive system mapping and documentation (IIS, SharePoint, SQL)
- Secure, optimized system configuration and performance
- Proactive issue identification and remediation
Performance Metrics:
- Completion of migrations with minimal downtime
- High-quality documentation and system knowledge sharing
- Adherence to security standards and system uptime expectations
- Efficient troubleshooting and resolution of issues
Required Qualifications:
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Windows Server (2012, 2016, 2019)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies: IIS, SharePoint, SQL
- Proficiency with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible)
- Experience implementing STIGs and maintaining security compliance
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
