Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer who is passionate about building robust, scalable, and high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern Android frameworks such as Jetpack Compose and Kotlin and a strong understanding of design architectures like MVVM or MVI to develop maintainable and testable codebases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build dynamic, intuitive user interfaces using Jetpack Compose.

  • Develop and maintain Android applications in Kotlin, following coding standards and best practices.

  • Implement MVVM or MVI design patterns to ensure clear separation of concerns and scalable architecture.

  • Deliver enterprise-grade apps that meet performance, scalability, and reliability benchmarks.

  • Monitor and improve app stability by integrating Crash Analysis tools and APM SDKs (DataDog, NewRelic, Sentry).

  • Integrate Bluetooth Classic/LE protocols for external device connectivity.

  • Implement local storage, caching, and data persistence mechanisms for offline capability.

  • Work with CMS platforms to manage and serve dynamic in-app content.

  • Write unit tests and integration tests to maintain code quality and stability.

  • Manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated builds and deployments.

  • Implement analytics platforms (such as Adobe Analytics) to derive actionable insights from user interactions.

  • (Nice to have) Integrate mapping functionalities (map pins, polylines, geofencing) and Urban Airship for in-app messaging.

  • Configure Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for delivering effective push notifications.

  • Create, manage, and debug long-running services to ensure continuous app performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Android application development.

  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.

  • Experience with MVVM or MVI architecture patterns.

  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Bluetooth integration, and local database frameworks (Room, SQLite).

  • Experience with CI/CD, testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso), and version control systems (Git).

  • Knowledge of performance monitoring, analytics, and crash reporting tools.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with mapping SDKs, Urban Airship, and enterprise CMS systems.

  • Exposure to APM, analytics, and continuous delivery systems in large-scale apps.
