Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled .NET Backend Developer with 3 6 years of experience to join our team on a 6+ month contract in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems and APIs, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy backend applications using .NET Core / .NET Framework.

  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.

  • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot technical issues.

  • Work closely with front-end developers, QA, and business analysts to deliver high-quality solutions.

  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.

  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and Agile ceremonies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3 6 years of hands-on backend development experience using C# and .NET (Core/Framework).

  • Strong experience in RESTful API development and microservices architecture.

  • Proficiency in SQL Server or other relational databases.

  • Experience with Entity Framework / LINQ.

  • Familiarity with Azure / AWS cloud services is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of OOP concepts, design patterns, and best practices.

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and collaborative development tools (Git, Jira, etc.).
