Technical Writer
This is a great opportunity for a seasoned technical writer who has experience working closely with product and engineering teams. The right candidate will know how to take complex technical information and turn it into well-structured documents that are easy to follow and meet industry or regulatory standards.
Contract Duration: 4 - 6 Months
Hybrid 2 days in Mesa
Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of technical writing experience for software products
Experience documenting new technical systems or product features
Familiarity with SDLC and working in software development environments
Experience writing documentation such as:
Experience writing CDRLs or other regulated deliverables
Background supporting government or security-focused projects
Ability to work directly with engineers and product teams to gather information
Experience using desktop publishing or formatting tools
Understanding of documentation standards in regulated environments

Job Responsibilities
- Create technical documents such as user guides, test plans, security and maintenance plans
- Work with technical subject matter experts to gather and clarify complex system details
- Write documentation that supports internal users, external customers, and compliance needs
- Organize and structure content clearly and logically
- Maintain and update documents as systems evolve
- Ensure documentation meets company and industry standards
