Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Contract: W2 Only

Duration: 12+ Months

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst with hands-on experience with Guidewire platforms (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter). The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring successful delivery of Guidewire-based implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Lead workshops and interviews to understand business processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories for development teams.
  • Work closely with Guidewire implementation teams to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Support configuration, customization, and integration efforts within Guidewire modules.
  • Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments for new features or changes.
  • Facilitate UAT planning, execution, and defect triaging.
  • Act as a liaison between business users, developers, QA, and project managers.
  • Provide domain expertise in insurance products, underwriting, claims, billing, and policy administration.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and data governance standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 13+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Strong experience with Guidewire platforms (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).
  • Proven ability to write clear and concise business and functional requirements.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with data migration, API integrations, and third-party systems.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks in insurance and financial services.
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and MS Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Guidewire certification(s) is a plus.
