Job Responsibilities
Contribute to the mechanical design of company s products
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Industrial Design, Electrical Hardware Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Reliability, Packaging, Safety, Tooling, EMC, Operations, and contract partners
Manage and balance numerous program needs simultaneously
Communicate effectively to quickly grasp issues and drive appropriate resolutions
Operate effectively in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment
Respond quickly to changes and manage competing demands
Develop creative and dynamic solutions outside of standard conventions

Required Qualifications
Experience in mechanical design, developing parts and assemblies in 3D CAD
3+ years experience in Product Design
Unigraphics NX fluency
Expertise in the areas of: GD&T, Tolerance Analysis, Statistical Analysis, Design of Experiments, FEA, Thermal Design.
Experience in plastic and metal part design
Experience with design cycle from concept to high volume manufacturing
Innovative thinking, high personal motivation, deep engineering capability
Direct management or leadership of product development engineering teams

Education
BS or MS degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Type: Contract
Duration: 12 months (with a possibility to extend)
Work Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid or Remote)
Pay Rate: $ 32.00 - $ 47.00 (DOE)
