Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Regression QA Lead to oversee and drive the quality assurance efforts for our product releases. This role requires a strong background in programming, UI automation, and API automation, with a focus on ensuring seamless and bug-free releases through comprehensive regression testing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Release regression testing cycle across multiple platforms and environments.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for UI and API testing using tools like Cypress, Postman, UI Path or similar.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure high-quality releases.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes of issues, and drive resolution in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for regression testing.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated regression testing.
- Monitor and report on test coverage, quality metrics, and release readiness.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in test automation and quality assurance.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in QA with at least 5 years in a lead role.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with UI automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
- Proficiency in API testing and automation (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools
- Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and release management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS).
Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).
ISTQB or other QA certifications.
Nice to Have:
Troubleshooting API failures in Mobile App
Hands on Experience in UI path, Amazon Q, Co-Pilot
Hands on experience with Emulators/Simulators
Experience with AWS Services
