Job Title: Business Developer/Account Manager

Location: Piscataway, NJ - Onsite

Client: First Tek Inc.

Duration: Full time role (Direct Placement)

Job Summary:

  • First Tek, Inc., a leading IT Consulting Company, has an opening for an Account Manager for managing its clients on the West Coast. We have built a reputation on servicing some of the biggest names in the corporate and entertainment industries.
  • We are searching for a communicative candidate who is proactive and passionate about the clients they serve. This is a remote (work from home) position. The candidate should be in the Pacific Time Zone.
  • The Account Manager will act as a point of contact for our clients. They will build long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with their contacts, always striving to find opportunities to generate more revenue for the client and the company.
  • Candidates should have exceptional communication, computer, and problem-solving skills. They should be resourceful, analytical, adaptable, and organized with the ability to build rapport with clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage client relationships, respond to inquiries, issues, provide contractor coaching.
  • Join agency syncs regularly regarding new requisitions and speak with hiring manager to learn about the requirements, ask questions, and strategize on recruitment.
  • Post Job descriptions, source candidates, phone screen, submit write ups into both ATS and VMS Wand, reject candidates, and close the loop.
  • Prep candidates for their interviews.
  • Full-cycle recruitment all the way through offer, on=boarding and off-boarding, I9 verification, and creating profile in Workbright.
  • Send confirmation emails to new hires, collect photos, NDA, and upload into VMS Wand.
  • POC for contractors regarding questions on W2, payroll, HR, timesheet/timecard issues, sick leave request and tracking, and benefits.
  • Respond to new client inquiries, engage in new business opportunities, create SLA/Contract, and negotiate m/u service rate.
  • Check in with contractors weekly to ensure retention and satisfaction.
  • Advise contractors on issues with their assignment, provide feedback, discuss performance plans.
  • Ensure that equipment is returned to client once contractor's assignment ends.
  • Inform Payroll about assignments ending and requesting for final checks for contractors that are terminating.
  • Follow up with clients on assignment extensions, terminations, and conversions.
  • Join monthly Supplier intake sync to receive program information and updates.
  • Speak with client leaders to resolve issues with contractors.
  • Review recruiter submissions, including revising their summary write ups as needed.
  • Lead, manage, and coach recruiters daily on assigned jobs.
  • Assist with auditing for contractor information as requested by First Tek Payroll/HR
  • Submit and support Auditing requests.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate ideas to clients.
  • Up-to-date understanding of the industry's consumer behavior
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills for dealing with different types of customers and clients.
  • Exceptional analytical skills for analyzing client data.
  • Time management and multitasking skills in order to handle multiple tasks and clients at once.
  • Advanced motivational and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Entertainment Industry recruiting and staffing experience (EX:Media/Digital/Google/Facebook/Uber).
