Martech Product Manager

Responsibilities and Day-to-Day View

Define and articulate the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for the MarTech stack, ensuring alignment with the company s long-term strategic goals, and marketing objectives (e.g., OKRs and BHAGs).

Collaborate with marketing, data insights, technology partners, and business leaders to establish a product strategy and roadmap that drives operational efficiency and customer engagement.

Act as the primary liaison between marketing, engineering, and data teams to identify opportunities for innovation and optimization.

Work with stakeholders across marketing growth, and technology to translate strategic objectives into actionable plans.

Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to evaluate their relevance and applicability to the MarTech stack strategy.

Translate customer needs, marketing challenges, and business goals into scalable product solutions, detailed requirements, and actionable launch plans.

Own the end-to-end lifecycle of MarTech products, including definition, design, development, deployment, and continuous iteration for scale and efficiency.

Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performing MarTech solutions, including Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), Data Activation, Customer Journey Management, attribution models, and analytics.

Define and prioritize product features and capabilities that ensure compliance with data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA, incorporating data governance best practices into product design and strategy.

Collaborate with engineering and security teams to implement product solutions that include encryption, access controls, and monitoring to safeguard sensitive customer data while addressing business and customer needs.

Promote the adoption of best practices in product development, including Agile methodologies, customer-centric design, and outcome-focused teams.

Define, manage, and track product KPIs, ensuring alignment at all levels and driving accountability for measurable success.

Evaluate and optimize existing MarTech tools and processes to reduce inefficiencies, improve usability, and maximize ROI.

Continuously monitor the performance of product solutions, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements to drive effectiveness and scalability.

Foster innovation and continuous improvement by leveraging emerging technologies and customer insights, fostering a culture of experimentation to enhance MarTech solutions and address evolving business priorities.

Qualifications

Besides having extensive experience in the MarTech and Optionally CDP area, the right candidate for this role should have these following skills/qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Marketing, Business, or a related field. A master s degree or MBA is preferred.

12+ years of experience in product management within the technology or marketing technology sectors.

Proven experience working with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and data warehouses, particularly Snowflake.

Strong background in managing and delivering MarTech solutions, including tools and platforms related to digital marketing, CRM, and analytics.

In-depth knowledge of data management, data integration, and data warehousing principles.

Familiarity with various MarTech tools such as marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools.

Understanding of SQL, Python, or other relevant programming languages for data manipulation and analysis.

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their integration with data systems.

Strong product management skills, including product lifecycle management, roadmap development, and feature prioritization.

Ability to define and communicate product vision, strategy, and goals to stakeholders at all levels.

Experience with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Trello for project management and collaboration.

Ability to conduct market research, user research, and competitive analysis to inform product decisions.

12+ years of experience in product management, including 5+ years in Marketing Technology (MarTech) or related domains, with a proven track record of delivering high-impact products.

5 years of hands-on experience in building and scaling Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) to support MarTech ecosystems, enabling personalized customer experiences and data-driven marketing strategies.

Proven capability to shape product vision and collaborate with technical teams to design scalable, customer-focused solutions, leveraging modern data frameworks and tools.

Proficient in delivering end-to-end product solutions, from roadmap planning to launch and continuous optimization to address evolving business needs.

Experienced in leading complex, cross-functional initiatives across marketing platforms, customer data ecosystems, and customer-centric technologies, ensuring alignment between business and technical teams.

Technical Product Management Skills and Proficiency

Extensive expertise in Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), identity resolution, customer profile unification, marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot), and analytics platforms to deliver comprehensive MarTech solutions.

Proven experience with modern CDPs such as Adobe RT-CDP, Salesforce CDP, and Tealium, with a strong understanding of composable, dual-zone, and packaged CDP models. Experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Adobe RT-CDP is highly desirable.

Strong knowledge of data activation, and journey orchestration across channels (e.g., email, social, web, mobile, paid media, retail, customer care), to enable seamless, personalized customer experiences and drive data-informed marketing strategies.

Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements, prioritize features, and deliver scalable solutions aligned with organizational goals.

Strong knowledge of data platforms, data warehouses (preferably Snowflake), data lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data analytics technologies, along with expertise in modern data platform architectures across both public and private cloud environments.

Proficient in data integration techniques and APIs for connecting CDPs with decisioning engines, CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and analytics platforms.

Familiar with modern data architectures, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), and APIs for building secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions.

Experienced in leveraging machine learning (ML), AI, and predictive analytics to enhance product capabilities, drive personalization, and improve customer engagement.

Skilled in Agile methodologies, product lifecycle management, and creating actionable product roadmaps, backlogs, and launch plans.

Proven ability to collaborate with engineering and security teams to implement data governance best practices, ensure compliance with GDPR/CCPA, and deliver secure features like encryption, access controls, and monitoring.
