Description
We are looking for an experienced SAP Project Manager to oversee complex software initiatives, including implementations and upgrades, ensuring they meet business objectives. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets and timelines, and drive successful delivery of SAP solutions. Based remotely, this role requires strong project management skills and technical expertise in SAP systems.
Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, timelines, and deliverables, to guide SAP initiatives.
Lead the execution of SAP projects, ensuring resources are optimized and tasks are completed efficiently.
Monitor budgets and timelines closely to ensure projects remain on track and within financial constraints.
Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders, fostering collaboration and clear communication.
Identify and address potential risks and issues, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure SAP solutions align with established standards and business needs.
Provide consistent progress updates to stakeholders and maintain thorough documentation of project activities.
Utilize project management tools such as Atlassian Jira to track progress and streamline workflows.
Apply Agile Scrum methodologies to enhance project execution and adaptability.
Drive the successful transition to SAP S4 Hana through strategic planning and execution.
Requirements
Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on SAP systems.
Proficiency in Agile Scrum methodologies and project management tools such as Atlassian Jira.
PMP Certification or equivalent project management credentials.
Strong knowledge of SAP software and solutions, including implementation and upgrade processes.
Proven ability to lead teams and manage stakeholders effectively.
Excellent time management and risk mitigation skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills to guide diverse teams and ensure project success.
