Job Summary
Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the security of TriWest's Azure cloud environments to protect to actively promote, maintain and validate the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the organization information assets in compliance with company security policies, standards and best practices in Azure.
Education & Experience
Required:
High School Diploma or GED
5+ years of experience in information security involving the implementation and administration of security requirements and security technologies
3+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting security in Microsoft Azure, including the use of native tools
Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, encryption, authentication, authorization, and audit capabilities
Strong oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with a variety of cross-functional roles with occasional executive presence
Strong understanding of threats, vulnerabilities, and exploits common to cloud applications or environments and experience implementing controls to mitigate those threats
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related
Certifications include: Azure Security, CCSP, SSCP, GCLD, or CISSP
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and improve the security posture of the enterprise by defining security controls, policies and standards and monitor alerts to ensure that data, apps, containers, infrastructure, and networks.
Assess and Implement controls and configurations within a cloud solution environment following zero-trust and defense-in-depth principles.
Create and maintain documentation for architectural designs, processes, and policies.
Develop auditing methodologies and architecture to manage and protect data in cloud computing environments.
Evaluates and implements security controls to meet or exceed the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) in "high" information classification boundary.
Implements Information Security Technology, Physical Security Controls and Federal data security requirements.
Author security system and application processes for both operation and management, including as-build service configuration documents.
Perform detailed and routine assessment to ensure use of established security policies, practices and expectations across all cloud services.
Promote security awareness and training through presentations and regular communications as part of an end user and IT system administrator education program.
Collaborate with Management in the development and implementation of a security education and awareness program.
Collaborate with Information Systems (IS) Security team members involved with information security and privacy issues to ensure security compliance with governmental regulatory requirements (i.e. FIPS, NIST, HIPAA).
Provide technical engineering security expertise for company-wide projects.
Assist in the development and implementation of security standards, baselines, processes and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Act as a primary point of contact for all information security related incidents requiring consultation or response, 24 hour accessibility
Provide high level of customer service to employees, business leadership and IT
Work in a cubed office environment with multiple computers and monitors
Heavy computer usage and documentation review
Extensive computer work with prolonged sitting
Requires successful completion of a background check
