Job Description:
The Enterprise Architect – DevOps will play a critical role in designing and implementing the DevOps architecture and strategy for the organization. This individual will focus on improving software delivery speed, quality, and scalability while ensuring seamless deployment workflows across cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, promoting best practices for automation, CI/CD, and cloud-native solutions. This role will require the individual to take ownership of continuous improvement initiatives and lead a team to elevate operational efficiency in DevOps processes.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Define and implement the DevOps architecture and strategy to align with business objectives, improving software delivery speed, quality, and scalability.

Design scalable, resilient, and secure systems leveraging continuous integration (CI), continuous deployment (CD), and automated testing frameworks.

Lead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines, automating the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Integrate tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, and others for automated build, test, and deployment.

Ensure seamless deployment workflows across cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments.

Promote and drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.

Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or ELK Stack.

Define KPIs for DevOps processes and lead the continuous improvement of operational efficiency.

Architect cloud-based and hybrid solutions using platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

Provide guidance on selecting and integrating cloud-native services for containerization and microservices (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for DevOps processes and automation scripts.
Required Experience/Skills:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

7+ years of experience in IT architecture or engineering, with at least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps practices and tools.

Strong understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD, and infrastructure management.

Expertise in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, and Azure DevOps.

Extensive experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Knowledge of IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.

Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.

Proficiency in scripting and programming languages like Python, Bash, Ruby, or Go.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice-to-Haves:

Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing.

Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Exposure to AI/ML integration within DevOps pipelines.

Certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
