QA Tester (Kubernetes, Cisco & Juniper)

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Tester with hands-on experience in Kubernetes, Cisco, and Juniper environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating the functionality, performance, and security of our network-integrated software and infrastructure systems. You will work closely with developers, network engineers, and DevOps teams to ensure the stability and reliability of our hybrid infrastructure deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive QA test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Kubernetes-based deployments.
• Validate integration and interoperability of software with Cisco and Juniper network devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Perform end-to-end system testing, including network traffic simulation, security validation, and failover testing.
• Automate test cases using tools such as Python, Ansible, or other testing frameworks.
• Troubleshoot and document software and network issues, providing detailed reports to developers and network teams.
• Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams to validate container orchestration, network policies, and cloud-native services.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.

Must-Have Skills:

• 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, deployments, and testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS/XE/ASA and Juniper Junos OS.
• Familiarity with networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, NAT, ACLs).
• Experience with test automation and scripting (Python, Shell, Bash, etc.).
• Proficiency with test and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, TestRail, JIRA).
• Understanding of containerized environments and cloud-native networking.
