Raytheon's Mission Capability and Verification Center (MCVC) located on White Sands Missile Range, NM is seeking a multi-disciplined Systems Engineer to join the Test Operations Team. This role will support planning, preparation and execution of test operations on various systems as well as technical and operational support for simulation hardware.

What You Will Do

• Collaborate, schedule, prepare documents, and conduct test activities at White Sands Missile Range and other National Test Ranges in the United States and abroad.
• Generate and track mission and hot firing procedures, target profiles using range maps and other mapping programs, and coordinate systems.
• Prepare documentation and reports for use by WSMR personnel and customers.
• Communicate and interface with contractors and government agencies.
• Conduct system interface, monitoring, analysis, troubleshooting, repair, modifications, and verification to ensure operational equipment performance.
• Perform calibrations of the system hardware to ensure systems are within tolerance for critical real-time operations.
• Activities will be performed at various locations and will include working in remote environments with various live system elements such as radars and missiles.
• May require long hours and/or weekend work, travel for periods of time between domestic locations and to remote sites in support of program requirements.
• Ability to travel up to 20% domestically to other Raytheon Sites and internationally.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior engineering experience.
• Experience with systems engineering i.e (hardware, system operations, and/or system maintenance).
• Experience with Linux, Unix and/or other programming language.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with test operations, test planning, scheduling, procedures and preparing reports for customer briefings
• Experience working within the scheduling and operational constraints at a test range, such as White Sands Missile Range
• Knowledge of radar hardware concepts, RF systems, troubleshooting, and reading/utilizing hardware schematics.
• Knowledge of analog/digital hardware design and related firmware.
• Ability to work in a team environment, multi-task, work under stress, and be flexible to support across multiple disciplines.

• Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
