Senior MERN Stack Developer -(Dallas Onsite)-local candidates only

Our client s technology team is developing and maintaining internal enterprise applications to support critical business operations. They are seeking a Senior MERN Stack Developer / Lead who can manage the full lifecycle of application development from design and build to deployment and operations while driving modernization efforts across multiple internal systems.

This role will focus on delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing full-stack solutions for the ESP/RPA Metrics Portal and other in-house applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using ReactJS, NextJS, NestJS, and Node/ExpressJS.
• Own the end-to-end application lifecycle, including design, development, deployment, and operational support.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database views to support business logic and reporting needs.
• Leverage knowledge of infrastructure components (servers, DNS, firewalls, load balancers, NFS shares, Active Directory) to support application reliability and scalability.
• Utilize Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting for automation and system maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, and global engineering teams to deliver new features and resolve technical challenges.
• Apply and enforce best practices in coding standards, application security, and performance optimization.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and assist with architecture decisions.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging tools, frameworks, and DevOps practices, adopting innovative solutions where appropriate.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Overall experience 8-10 years, 7+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer with a strong background in:
• ReactJS, NextJS, NestJS, NodeJS/ExpressJS
• Solid understanding of infrastructure fundamentals, including servers, DNS, firewalls, load balancers, NFS, and Active Directory.
• Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux systems, including shell scripting and basic administration.
• Proficiency in SQL development writing and optimizing complex queries, stored procedures, and database views.
• Experience managing end-to-end application lifecycles (build, deploy, monitor, maintain).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
