Title: ServiceNow Developer + Secops

Client : Cognizant/TD bank

Location: Toronto, ON---4 days onsite

Type:-C2C/T4/W2

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer with experience in Security Operations (SecOps) to join our team in Toronto. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and implement ServiceNow SecOps solutions to enhance IT security, automate incident response, and improve overall service management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and develop ServiceNow SecOps modules such as:
    • Security Incident Response (SIR)
    • Vulnerability Response (VR)
    • Threat Intelligence
    • Configuration Compliance
  • Customize workflows, forms, business rules, client scripts, UI actions, and notifications.
  • Integrate ServiceNow SecOps with SIEM, vulnerability scanners, threat intel platforms, and ticketing tools.
  • Collaborate with security, ITSM, and infrastructure teams to align SecOps with enterprise security goals.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and performance analytics to track security operations KPIs.
  • Ensure proper documentation, coding standards, and best practices.
  • Support upgrades, patches, and continuous improvement of ServiceNow platform.
  • Provide technical guidance to end-users and security stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3 5+ years hands-on experience with ServiceNow development.
  • 2+ years specific experience with ServiceNow SecOps modules (SIR, VR, Threat Intel).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, REST/SOAP integrations, HTML/CSS.
  • Strong knowledge of ITSM, ITIL processes, and SecOps best practices.
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with security tools (Splunk, Qualys, Tenable, CrowdStrike, etc.).
  • Good understanding of cybersecurity concepts (incident handling, vulnerability management, threat intelligence).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
