Job Description:
Pay Range: $65hr - $70hr
  • The Cloud Enterprise Architect will lead the modernization of legacy AS/400 systems to cloud-native solutions, driving enterprise-wide transformation with scalable architecture, advanced data analytics, and AI/ML integration.
  • This role combines deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership to deliver innovative and secure cloud solutions aligned with business goals.
Responsibilities:
  • Architect and lead the re-platforming of legacy AS/400 applications to cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform or Azure.
  • Redesign enterprise applications for scalability, performance, and modern user experience.
  • Define and implement integration strategies across internal systems, third-party platforms, and cloud services.
  • Lead AI/ML-based development initiatives for intelligent automation and predictive analytics.
  • Design and oversee data warehouse and data analytics solutions to support high-volume OLTP systems.
  • Drive backend architecture using microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems.
  • Guide frontend modernization using React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript to ensure responsive and accessible UI/UX.
  • Oversee DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and container orchestration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless cloud migration with minimal disruption.
  • Establish and communicate a clear technical enterprise vision aligned with business goals.
  • Lead proof-of-concept (POC) efforts to validate new technologies and methodologies.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and performance across all layers of architecture.
  • Mentor engineering teams across onsite and offshore locations to promote best practices and technical excellence.
  • Engage with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Participate in Agile delivery processes, sprint planning, and architecture reviews.
Required Skills And Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution design, and cloud transformation.
  • Proven experience migrating from AS/400 or other legacy systems to Google Cloud Platform or Azure.
  • Deep understanding of microservices, event-driven architecture, and API-first design.
  • Strong background in AI/ML platforms, data engineering, and model lifecycle management.
  • Expertise in data warehousing, ETL pipelines, and real-time analytics.
  • Experience designing high-throughput OLTP systems for performance and reliability.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Proficiency in backend technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, and Python.
  • Strong frontend development skills using React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native deployment strategies.
  • Experience with security frameworks, IAM, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in client-facing roles.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and leading onsite-offshore teams.
