Business Analyst Consultant III – IT Contracts Manager

Position Overview
Client seeks a Business Analyst with strong IT Contract Management expertise to support and enhance existing contract operations. This non‑supervisory role manages the full IT contract life cycle—including amendments, changes, performance clauses, and vendor accountability.
The IT Contracts Manager serves as the subject‑matter expert for all IT‑related contract and tender activities involving software, hardware, and IT services. The role includes statutory analysis, contract negotiation, performance monitoring, issue resolution, and partnership with Procurement and legal stakeholders to ensure optimal financial terms and contractual protections.

Core Responsibilities
1. Vendor Contract Process
- Partner with Business Relationship Managers & Procurement to define contract needs for RFI/RFP processes
- Create objectives, procedures, templates, workflows for:
- MSAs
- Professional Services Agreements
- SOWs
- MOUs
- Amendments
- Maintain contract databases and track:
- Executed agreements
- Documents in progress
- Obligations, deliverables, changes
- Coordinate with legal, risk, audit, and procurement to ensure appropriate legal protections
- Develop & maintain negotiation strategies and best practices
- Administer financial elements:
- Billing/invoicing
- Incentives & remedies
- Establish contract change control processes
- Oversee vendor performance in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Continuously improve contract management processes
2. Vendor Pricing & Market Insight
- Monitor industry trends, pricing, and vendor landscape
- Communicate key contract summaries (terms, risks, opportunities, SLAs)
- Ensure pricing remains competitive
- Identify cooperative purchasing opportunities
- Lead contract review meetings & report milestones, budget adherence, and risk
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in:
