Job Details
Position: Senior Salesforce Technical Lead Location: Boston, MA Hybrid, MA
Duration: Long-term Contract
Domain: Public Sector Refugee & Immigrant Services
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the design, development, and integration of Salesforce applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and senior IT leadership to build application roadmaps aligned with strategic business needs.
- Conduct discovery workshops and build prototypes to gather business input and validate application functionality.
- Provide mentoring and technical guidance to developers; support end users as needed.
- Lead debugging, testing, performance tuning, and deployment across environments.
- Manage application upgrades, releases, and migration efforts.
- Ensure systems are scalable, secure, and aligned with Salesforce architectural standards.
- Create documentation for development standards, workflows, and support guides.
- Act as the Salesforce release manager, reviewing and approving configurations/code for environment deployment.
- Conduct technical research and develop solution roadmaps, with clear reporting and stakeholder communication.
Required Skills:
- Expertise in Salesforce Service Cloud, PSS Solutions, Omni Studio.
- Advanced experience with APIs and integration platforms such as MuleSoft.
- Proven experience in Salesforce data model design and legacy data migration.
- Strong background in Salesforce dashboard and reporting development.
- Ability to lead Agile teams and deliver technical components in sprints.
- Experience with Salesforce security models, workflows, validations, Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- 15+ years in Salesforce architecture, customization, and application/system development.
- Experience in leading cross-functional Agile teams, writing technical specs, and overseeing end-to-end solution delivery.
- Domain knowledge of immigration systems or public sector programs is a plus.
- Exceptional problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate between business and technical language.
- Self-driven and capable of leading initiatives with minimal supervision.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- Salesforce Advanced Administrator
- Salesforce Platform Developer
- PMP, IIBA, or ABAC (Nice to have)
