You will collaborate with quantitative researchers in the Investment Group to engineer financial quantitative models and optimize portfolio construction strategies used in a variety of investment management activities.

The Quant Engineer works closely with quantitative researchers and technology teams to design, develop, test, and maintain sophisticated quantitative models that support investment management processes. This role requires strong engineering and quantitative skills, the ability to convert complex quantitative models into functional software, a disciplined experimental approach for model validation, and the capacity to quickly grasp capital markets (including equity and fixed income), modern portfolio theory, various market data sources, and industry-standard portfolio risk models. A willingness to learn new technologies and business domains is essential. Responsibilities also include modeling complex problems, uncovering insights, and identifying opportunities through statistics, algorithms, and data mining.
