Job Description

You will be the JASSM Systems Integration and Test Lab Operations Lead for the JASSM team. Our team is responsible for providing validated test equipment to support all stages of development, integration, and testing of major subsystems and systems.

What You Will Be Doing

As the JASSM Systems Integration and Test Lab Operations Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technicians to achieve technical excellence and mission success in the support of several JASSM program efforts.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Test Equipment Management: Lead the design, procurement, assembly, integration, test, verification, and validation of test equipment to support program Integrated Product Teams.
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines as required for the packaging, fabrication, and assemblies of test equipment and associated cable assemblies.
  • Manage Capital Expense Requests (CER) and budget for the I&T team.
  • Shipping/Logistics Support: Develop Program Directives (PD) as required to organize the shipping and storage of test equipment and assets to various test sites.
  • IT&E Laboratory Management/Oversight: Serve as the program IT&E point of contact to support the Functional ITE Laboratory Management Team in maintaining compliance with Environmental Safety and Health (ESH), Security, and Facility requirements.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from in a related discipline with 5 years of professional experience or equivalent professional experience. Considered an emerging authority.
A good understanding of basic electrical, software, and mechanical engineering skills with the ability to teach others.
Active Final Secret required to start

Desired skills

Active Security Clearance, Continuous Vetting within 5 years is preferred.
Excellent technical writing, planning and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build solid relationships with team members
Previous team lead experience and missile test experience is preferred.
Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot problems and coordinate other integration participants for I&T program efficiency.
Deliver effective presentations that include performance results, schedule status, and corrective action details.
Demonstrate awareness of test equipment management including function, calibration and security requirements.
Verify that test data is recorded and cataloged appropriately.
Experience with lab test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, and Signal Generators
Experience in technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and formal system development
Development of system level test plans/procedures and associated reviews focused on data analysis and findings

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $98,300 - $170,315.
