Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced TIBCO Spotfire Developer with hands-on expertise in

developing advanced analytics and visualization solutions for Life Sciences clients,

particularly in Pharma R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, or Commercial data environments. The

ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing interactive dashboards,

integrating data from multiple sources, and providing analytical insights to support data-

driven decision-making within regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Spotfire dashboards, visualizations, and reports to

support analytical and operational needs of Life Sciences projects.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and domain experts to

gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.

Work with data from clinical trials, safety, regulatory, manufacturing, or commercial

systems (e.g., EDC, CTMS, LIMS, Veeva, Argus, SAP, etc.).

Implement data wrangling and transformation using IronPython scripting, TERR, R,

or Python within Spotfire.

Optimize dashboard performance and ensure scalability, reusability, and adherence

to data governance standards.

Integrate Spotfire with data sources such as SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, AWS

S3, or Data Lakes.

Develop custom expressions, calculated columns, and KPIs for trend, risk, and

quality monitoring in regulated environments.

Support data validation, access control, and compliance with 21 CFR Part 11 and

other GxP regulations where applicable.

Provide user training, documentation, and production support for Spotfire solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Life

Sciences, or related field.

Strong proficiency in IronPython scripting, R/Python integration, and SQL queries.

Experience in data visualization best practices and building analytical dashboards for

business and scientific use cases.

Familiarity with Life Sciences data models and standards (e.g., CDISC, SDTM,

ADaM, IDMP, SPOR, MedDRA).

Understanding of clinical development, regulatory submissions, pharmacovigilance,

or manufacturing quality analytics.

Experience integrating Spotfire with ETL tools, Data Lakes, or BI platforms (e.g.,

AWS Glue, Informatica, Databricks, Power BI) is a plus.

Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with

global teams.
