Summary:


The Project Coordinator III plays a key role in supporting IT infrastructure initiatives, including server migrations, network switch upgrades, and disaster recovery testing. This onsite position is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive professional who excels at coordinating multiple projects, maintaining schedules, and facilitating collaboration between technical and business teams.

responsibilities:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and lead multiple small-scale IT infrastructure projects from initiation through completion.
  • Support large-scale initiatives in planning, design, development, and implementation phases.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, GANTT charts, and task trackers.
  • Facilitate meetings, document project actions, and track progress, issues, and risks.
  • Prepare and maintain project artifacts such as audit checklists, meeting notes, and release management documents.
  • Monitor project performance, budgets, and resource allocation, providing regular status reports to management.
  • Ensure adherence to IT governance and change management processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business, operations, and technical teams to achieve project goals.
  • Assist Project Managers and PMO leadership in meeting milestones and deliverables.
  • Support coordination of disaster recovery (DR) testing and other infrastructure-related initiatives.


TOP DAILY PRIORITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES


  • The initial projects will be related to server upgrades, switch upgrades, and coordination of Disaster Recovery (DR) testing with infrastructure and application teams.
  • Project assistance requests will come from other Project Managers




qualifications:

Qualifications


Bachelor's degree required; preferred in Computer Science, MIS, or related field, or equivalent work experience.


Minimum 5 years of IT experience, including 3+ years in project coordination or leadership.


Experience managing IT infrastructure projects, including network and server environments.


Proven success working with distributed, cross-functional teams and non-dedicated resources.


Strong understanding of basic network and server architecture concepts.


Experience with Microsoft Project, Excel, and SharePoint.


Familiarity with change management and IT project governance standards.


Experience in the energy industry preferred.
