Required Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in Java development
  • Experience with Supply Chain systems preferably in Warehouse Management.
  • Prior hands-on experience with Full-Stack Development - C#, Java, XML, SQL Server, Oracle, JavaScript, and HTML5, Web API framework, microservices, Docker, Database, Responsive UI, CSS, Angular, jQuery, Web Services, API Development, and Test Automation

Job Details:
  • We are seeking a Development Manager to play a key role managing a successful technical team, delivering new capabilities iteratively through an IT Product-Oriented-Delivery (POD) team framework.
  • This role acts as a critical liaison between business solution lead, business analysts and technical teams to coordinate delivery of new and enhanced capabilities from ideation and requirements gathering through delivery and maintenance.
  • The Development Manager is accountable for prioritizing project deliverables, assigning project responsibilities to team members and ensuring the on-time completion of project tasks, with high quality.
  • This role participates actively in software design meetings, code reviews, change management planning, and ensures adherence to department standards and documentation. This role must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of management both within and outside of the IT department.
  • This role participates actively in software design meetings to support long-term maintainability and extensibility of code, performs code reviews, and obsesses over quality of the products delivered.
  • This role oversees the activities of the application development team, provides technical leadership, code reviews and assists with resource planning.
  • Directly supervises employees in the Application Development department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
