A bit about us:

A leading Managed Services Provider (MSP) is seeking an experienced Level 3 Support Technician to serve as the onsite escalation point for IT infrastructure support at a large enterprise client. This individual will be the "go-to" technical resource, ensuring that all escalated tickets are resolved efficiently and professionally. The role is critical to delivering a seamless, one-stop IT support experience for the client.

This role is onsite and will pay $50-$60/Hour + Full Benefits.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the primary escalation point for all IT infrastructure tickets from Level 1 and Level 2 technicians.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across Microsoft 365, Intune, Cisco networking, and other core technologies.

Serve as the face of the MSP onsite, ensuring the client relies fully on the MSP to resolve all tickets.

Partner with MSP leadership and client stakeholders to navigate a corporate, political environment with professionalism and tact.

Proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve technical problems, working independently when necessary to "figure things out."

Document solutions, create knowledge articles, and provide mentorship to junior technicians to improve team efficiency.

Ensure infrastructure availability, performance, and security in line with client and MSP standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

5+ years of progressive IT support experience, with at least 2 years in a Level 3 / escalation role.

Strong expertise with:

Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).

Intune / Endpoint Manager for device management and security.

Cisco networking (switches, firewalls, routing, VPNs).

Broad IT infrastructure knowledge across servers, networks, and cloud platforms.

Proven ability to work independently and resolve complex technical challenges.

Experience working onsite in a corporate environment with multiple stakeholders.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive situations in a political, high-visibility setting.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

MSP or consulting experience, with the ability to balance multiple client expectations.

Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator, CCNA, CCNP, or similar.

Familiarity with ITIL service management best practices.
