Job Details

Role: - Fortinet Firewall Engineer L3
Location: - Toronto, Ontario (Onsite position)
Long term contract

Pay rate - $35/hr - $45/hr CAD (All Inclusive) on T4/Danta Technologies Payroll (OR) $60/hr CAD on T4A (Incorporation) - Corporation-To-Corporation.

Need to have skills - Fortigate , FortiManager, Forti client & Forti EMS , Cisco NAC

Candidate Persona

  • Ability to work with very large and complex network.
  • Self-motivated individual and creative thinker who will take ownership of tasks and projects, able to work with the team, and manages tasks effectively and has a proven track record of consist and organized outputs.
  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate an eagerness to understand complex problems and requirements, an aptitude for translating these problems into workable designs and solutions and will possess a keen eye for detail.
Skills Required
  • Thorough understanding and hands-on experience working on network and security technologies routing and switching, VPN, SD-WAN, multi-cloud environment
  • Strong hands-on experience working in Fortinet firewalls, Forti-Analyzer, Forti-manager and Forti EMS
  • Strong knowledge in managing firewalls and troubleshooting in complex multi-cloud environments. Preferably in Azure and Google Cloud Platform
  • Strong hands-on experience in integrating Fortinet firewalls with Forti-manager, configuring policies, templates, high availability, log settings and VPN manager.
  • Demonstrated experience with VPN technologies and troubleshooting techniques
  • Experience working with Fortinet web filtering, SSL inspection and threat inspection.
  • Experience in Content Scanners / Proxies, and IDS/IPS devices desirable
  • Excellent diagnostic / troubleshooting skills
  • Experience working on Cisco & Palo Alto firewalls will be an added advantage
  • Experience working on Cisco Client/NAC.
  • Knowledge in F5 and native Azure load balancers
  • Fortinet firewall Certifications such as Fortinet Certified Professional Network Security, FCP - FortiGate Administrator or FCP - Forti Manager Administrator and Azure is must
Soft Skills
  • Excellent written and spoken fluency in English
  • Shall have good verbal/written communication skills
  • Incumbent should carry continual system improvement mind-set and able to demonstrate in work.
  • Client facing technical analysis report and presentation skills
