Our team is responsible for building software in support of CoStar Group's sales teams. We think big, building innovative CRM features that empowers our sales teams' success. We are a collaborative group with a mix of native mobile, data, API / platform, and front-end skills, and we are working to drive our company's future with our proprietary CRM system.
This position is located in Richmond, VA and is in onsite Monday - Thursday, option to work from home on Friday.

Responsibilities:
- Ensures that products conform to business requirements/company policies, software quality standards, and established procedures
- Creates and maintains deliverables including test plans, test cases, test data, project test progress and release reports, application turnover documents and test schedules
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and dealing with change
- Recommends and assists in corrective actions taken at all stages of product life cycle
- Ability to prioritize and be proactive in raising risks and potential issues
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited, not for profit university or college.
- A track record of commitment to prior employer
- 5+ years industry experience as a software quality assurance test engineer
- 5+ years of experience with functional testing either manually or via automation tools
- Comfortable writing software to implement functional automated tests using well known design patterns
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and Relational Databases with relational databases (administration and T-SQL)
- Experience testing mission-critical relational database applications, and web-based enterprise systems at both the API and UI level
- Experience with testing/observability/debugging tools including Chrome Debugger, Postman, Fiddler, Kibana
- Experience testing RESTful APIs and Web Applications
- Familiarity with CI/CD deployment processes
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch
- Strong communication skills (to both business and technical partners)
- Experience designing and implementing automated tests using: Playwright, CucumberJS, Selenium, Gherkin, and/or Cypress
- Experience creating functional automated tests in an Agile environment
