We are seeking a seasoned Permanent Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Engineering industry. The ideal candidate will have an innate ability to innovatively design and engineer solutions for complex problems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of our dedicated team of professionals committed to pushing the boundaries of engineering while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Developing and implementing innovative design solutions to complex engineering problems.
2. Collaborating with other team members to ensure that all designs and engineering solutions are aligned with the company's strategic goals.
3. Overseeing all stages of the product development process, from initial concept to final production.
4. Conducting thorough quality control checks to ensure that all designs and products meet the highest standards of safety and reliability.
5. Continuously reviewing and updating existing engineering processes and designs to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
6. Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineering staff.
7. Liaising with clients to understand their needs and requirements, and developing tailored engineering solutions.
8. Staying up-to-date with the latest engineering trends and technologies, and incorporating these into your work where appropriate.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate for this role will have:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (a Master's degree will be an advantage).
2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the Engineering industry.
3. Proven experience in design and engineering, with a strong portfolio of past projects.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to develop innovative solutions.
5. Strong knowledge of engineering principles and best practices.
6. Proficiency in using engineering software and tools.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex engineering concepts in a clear and concise manner.
8. The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
9. A strong commitment to quality and safety, with a keen eye for detail.
10. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
